"Everything's Gonna Be Alright" by SWEETBOX

Johann Sebastian Bach's work laid the foundation for much of Western music, influencing countless composers and genres that followed. His mastery of counterpoint and harmonic structures is unparalleled. His compositions are still studied and revered today.

The different melodies in Part I, II, and III of this series, “Bach To The Future,” were all influenced by J.S. Bach’s “Air On The G String” from Suite No. 3 BWV 1069.

The melody of "Everything's Gonna Be Alright" by SWEETBOX is based entirely upon the ‘Air'. The original Bach work is below followed by the SWEETBOX song.

The lyrics of the song are haunting and universal, expressing the denial, the anguish, the bargaining, the loneliness, and the acceptance of loss that we will all experience sometime in our lives.
